Unexpected Haulage

Hi guys,

I went shopping today to pick up a dress I'd seen online from Miss Selfridge, but I didn't end up getting it because in the flesh, I wasn't happy with the way it looked, it was like a jersey, clingy material, when I was expecting something more structured,

So I had a look around the shops and got some other bits and thought I'd share.

Longline bandeau, Miss Selfridge, £10 (I think)
Sturrup leggings, Miss Selfridge, £14
Beach dress (which I am going to wear of an evening on holiday), Accessorize, £28

Bruce Springstien top, H&M, £9.99

Minnie Mouse vest, H&M, £9.99

Longline, drop waist shirt, H&M, £14.99

Pink cardigan, Miss Selfridge, £28

PJ's & Slippers, Both La Senza, £20 & £10

Canvas pumps, River Island, £12.99
Pink ballet pumps, Next, £28

Monsoon Dresses

If anyone remembers a little while ago I did a haul and told you I got two really unusual dresses from Monsoon, but I couldn't show you because they weren't on the website, and my Mum had put them away for my birthday...Well since then my Mum has given them to me and they are now on the website, so I thought I  would share :)

So here is the "bon bon" dress:

And the "Bella Stripe" dress:

Next I've got my eye on the "Allsorts" dress:

These dresses are all from the Fusion range at Monsoon, which I'm really loving right now, it has some really unusual pieces, and is a lot younger than the original Monsoon signature style.

Valentines Day

I know it's a bit late, but I hope everybody had a lovely Valentines day. I certainly did. Firstly we opened pressies, I got a big me2you bear, Marc Jacobs Lola perfume, roses and tulips, a declaration of love gift with a certificate, a heart charm, a poem and chocs. Then we got ready and jumped on the tube to Southbank where we went on a Thames river cruise and then we went for a ride on the London Eye. It had just got dark once we got on, so it was beautiful as the whole of London was lit up.

After all that we finally went for some dinner in St. Katherines Docks, where I consumed lots of gorgeous champagne and yummy food.

What did you all do?

Feeding My Habbit...

Hi ladies,

So I went shopping today (yes, again) to Westfield, London. I picked up a few things, and my Mum bought me two dresses, (that I haven't photographed) which she has put away for my birthday, which is ages away, but they were really unusual, and we knew they'd be the types of dresses that would just sell out never to be seen again. They are from Fusion at Monsoon and 3 people commented on one of the dresses when I was holding it in the que, its light grey with cap sleeves and all along the bottom and around the neck are big beads and it looks like its covered in sweets!

Anyway, on to what I did get...

Beaded R Pearl bracelet, Topshop, £6
Cream & Pearl cocktail ring, Topshop, £8

Sunglasses, River Island, £12.99
Marc B bow bag, Topshop £35
Jelly sandals, River Island £12.99

Lacey leggings, Next, £18

Anchor beach dress, Next, £12

High waisted bodycon skirt, Warehouse, £16
Which I am going to wear on Valentines Day with...

Lacey crop top, Warehouse, £28

Stripey crop sweater, Next, £35

Dress, River Island, £25

I love it all, only thing I'm not too sure about is the lacy leggings, dunno if I'm brave enough! What do you guys think?

January Favourites

Hello ladies,

I hope you are all ok. This is my first monthly favourites post and as it's a new year, I thought I'd start doing these, hope you enjoy.

1. St. Moriz Self Tanning Mouse

I am sooo over embracing the paleness of the winter months, and feel much healthier with a tan, and a lot more confident, thats just me. So last month I bought another two bottles of the gorgeous St. Moriz that was raved about in the community last summer, and for the past two weeks I have been enjoying being a bronzed beauty again. For anyone that hasn't tried this yet, where have you been?! But seriously, this is the best fake tan I have ever tried, and at a tiny fraction of the price of St. Tropez what have you got to lose? (it's £2.99 by the way).

2. Clean & Clear Blackhead Clearing Cleanser

Clean and clear has been in my life for many months now, but I have never religiously used it, so my new aim is to use this everyday & hopefully see it start working.

3. The Body Shop Strawberry Body Butter

I love, love, love this! I have been using this all over my face at night time, and especially around my nose, chin and forehead as the cold weather is drying those parts of my face out, and then using the cleanser in the morning.

4. Models Own Nail Polish in Pink Punch

I know it's not summer yet, but how gorgeous is this? This week I've had it on my toes and I'm loving it! It looks more like a neon coral/orange and I can't wait to get my tootsies into some flip flops.

5, 6, 7 & 8. LIPS! (L-R) Body Shop Oui Oui Oui/Yes Yes Yes, Barry M Limited Edition Lip Gloss, Barry M Toffee Lip Gloss (2) & ELF Runway Pink Mineral Lipstick

I have started to use the Oui Oui Oui at night to moisturise my lips as they've been pretty dry recently, I just smother my lips in it and go to sleep and hope Jack doesn't kiss me in the night, haha!

The Barry M lipglosses are purely in here for the smell, they are truely amazing!

When I first recieved Runway Pink form ELF I really didn't think it would suit me, but to my surprise I love it and it means I'm going easy on my beloved Nude Rose by Mac which I'm nearly out of and it was limited edition *cries*

9, 10, 11 & 12. FACE. (L-R, T-B) MAC Sclupt & Shape in Bone Beige Emphasize, MAC By Candlelight MSF, MAC Well Dressed Blush & ELF Peachykeen Blush.

The sculpt and shape powder was a re-promote that came out with the DSquared collection last year. Ever since I've had it it's been my go-to for contouring, however I have hardly ever used the highlight, I find it too light.

By Candlelight was my first MSF, and I use it as a cheek highlight and sometimes on the brow bone, I've talked about it before, it's a really pretty colour, I heart it.

MAC Well Dressed should be and probably is in everybody's collection, I use it 90% of the time, it's a lovely, glowy pink blush.

I've never been that big on blush, but after getting Well Dressed, I became curious, so I thought I'd try a peach, ELF's Peechykeen is gorgeous, but I'm not too keen on the sparkle, so this is mainly used for nights out, when I'm extra bronzed up.

13, 14 & 15. Lastly, EYES. (L-R) MAC Hypnotizing, MAC Twinks & Max Factors False Lash Effect mascara in Black.

Hypnotizing is gorgeous! My fave eyeshadow of the moment, it's a really lovely plum brown and I'm enjoying it all over the lid with either Satin Taupe in the crease & outter corner, or...

Twinks. I have had Twinks in my collection since I started collecting MAC last year, but had never really so much as made a dent in it until January. It's an absolutely beautiful plum/bronze colour with gold reflects and is great on the outter corner.

Max Factors new false lash effect mascara is amazing. It has a really wide brush and gives me beautifully long spider-like lashes. I have always had long lashes, but have never received compliments on them before like I get all the time now. If I want a really dramatic look I use it with Maybelline Lash Stilleto which is my fave go-to mascara.

What did you enjoy in January girlies?
