Shrinking Feet & A Haul

Hello girly girls,

Firstly I wanted to say, I am sorry for my lack of posts recently, but unfortunately, my MacBook Air kinda died *sad face* my screen somehow became detached from the bottom, and now it won't even come on, so I'm currently using my home PC, but it's not always easy to get into my study and blog, so apoligies for that.

So today, I popperd out for a couple of hours with my Mumsy, she had to get a few bits for my Dad, and I was in search of a white across body bag for my holiday, which I must say I've been hunting for for weeks, it's summer for christs sake, you'd think I could get a white bag! Anyway, I finally got one today in Claires, it's nothing special, and I haven't photographed it, but it will do for holiday purposes.

Whilst looking for my Dad, obviously we browsed for ourselves too, as ya do! So we went to Office, and for a few weeks now I'd had my eye on some patent peep toes that come in nude, bright pink and black just for day wear in the summer. I wanted the pink ones, but put it off, because they were £60 and I am on a complete spending ban. However, my beautiful Mummy treated me to them today, along with a gorgeous pair of converse, which I am in love with!

Bright pink peep toes, Office, £60
Grey (although on the box they are described as green?)/Neon Pink Converse, Office, £34.99

I love them!! :)

And I am extra happy, that after years of being a size 6, then shrinking to a 5.5 in the past couple of years, both pairs of shoes I got today were a 5 and a perfect fit, I was so fed up of shoes being too big for me, and plus size 5's loot much more dainty :)

We also popped to Next to get my Dad some shorts, and I picked up a cute top and some jewellery.

Top, Next, £22
Bracelet, Next, £7.50
Beaded flower ring, Next, I can;t remember the price, I'll update later.
Necklace, Next, £12

I hope you're all ok.

A Surprise Gift From Aussie

Hello gorgeous ones,

So on Saturday morning when I was relaxing in bed, my boyfriend brought me up a cuppa and a parcle, I was racking my brians to figure out what it was, I hadn't bought anything...I'm on a spending ban after all saving up for my holiday (I'm nearly there by the way, woo hoo). It didn't help that the package was sealed really tight, and I wasn't getting anywhere with opening it, Jack had to even help!

When I finally got it open, I discovered it was from the lovely people at Aussie, and they had sent me some products to try. I got:
  • Limited Edition Aussie Colour Mate shampoo and conditioner
  • Limited Edition Aussie 3 Min Miracle Colour Deep Treatment
  • An Aussie compact mirror
  • A comb
  • Badges
  • A chocolate bar

So massive thank you to Aussie, can't wait to try the products out! It couldn't have come at a better time, as the products I got when I changed my hair are nearly run out.

Updated Jewellery Storage/Organisation

My jewellery collection is a bit out of control. I have so much of the stuff, that it was all just everywhere, I had stuff just thrown into drawers/baskets all mixed in together, so it was quite hard to know where anything was without searching through it all.

Here are some pictures of my jewellery storage before:

Main mirrored jewellery box that sits on my dressing table:

Earrings & a few of my rings.

Mish-mash of stuff, but mainly bracelets.

Necklaces.

Smaller mirrored box, which also sits on my dressing table:

This sort of became my overflow box, the stuff I was wearing on a day to day basis, and when I took it off at night, I would throw it in here.

Drawer in my dressing table which housed everything else:

So today I decided to get some decent storage so I can separate bracelets from necklaces for example. I just went to Poundland as they do an array of great storage and this is how it ended up after:

Two sets of drawers which are great for putting everything separately.

Drawer 1: Earrings

Drawer 2 & 3: Bracelets

Set of drawers 2. Drawer 1: Dainty necklaces

Drawer 2: Chunkier necklaces (I've just realised that I've forgotten to photograph the third drawer, but it's got beaded necklaces in).

Purple jewellery box houses my more expensive jewellery.

The smaller mirrored box now stores my more expensive watches:

My bangles have gone from being loose in the drawer to this big plastic storage box, which has to now live under my bed because I just haven't got any more room!

And finally, as I've shown you before, this is my cocktail ring storage:

So there we have it, I'm sorry for the picture heavy post. It still may look really cluttered to you, but trust me, it should be a lot easier now having all the bracelets together, all the bangles together and so on. I think it's the best I'm going to get it, because I have so much.

How do you store yours? Am I the only person with so many different storage items going on for jewellery?!

If you want me to go into any more detail about anything, or want to see a specific part of my collection, let me know.

Long grey cardigan, Zara
