Elf Haul

Hi everyone, hope you all had a nice weekend. I did go to Westfield on Saturday, but I didn't go to MAC I'm afraid, so I didn't pick up any of the new collections and instead spent my money on clothes.

This morning I went to the post office to pick up a parcel that I missed on Thursday, which was my Elf order.

I got two of the duo eyeshadows, the first one is called Mocha Swril, which as you can see is a light beige and a dark brown. They are really creamy shadows so really easy to blend.

The next one is called Butter Pecan, which is a brown and peach.

I got one of their blushes which recently came out with the extended Elf Studio line, as you all know, the one I chose was Peachykeen as I have a few pink blushes and wanted to try a more peachy one, and at £3.50 you can't really go wrong.

Next up is one of the Mineral eyeshadows in Natural, this is a gorgeous pinky peach and it reminds me of my favourite eyeshadow by MAC, Grand Entrance, which was limited edition, but I use it every day, so this is a good replacement.

Also from the Mineral range I got this lipstick, its Runway Pink, and I already have Nicely Nude and Natural Nymph, which I am really happy with. However at the moment I'm not sure how Runway Pink is going to work for me, also when swatched on my hand it seemed pretty drying. I'll keep you posted with this one.

I got a mineral eyeliner in black.

And a waterproof eyeliner pen, which comes out like a felt and I'm very excited to try this out.

Back to the Studio range and I got this eyeliner and shadow stick in Glow and Pearl. The thicker end is the shadow Glow and the liner Pearl. You have to press pretty hard to get a good colour pay off, and in doing so I broke off some of the eyeliner end. But the colours are nice, and I will be using the shadow end for a brow highlight and the liner for inner corner highlight.

And lastly, which I'm sure you've all seen before, the complexion brush and the HD powder. I've read mixed reviews about the HD powder, some people saying it works and some saying it does nothing for them. It's meant to create a "soft focus" effect to the skin. Mask fine lines and imperfections for a radiant complexion. It's designed to be used with high-definition camera technology. So I'll let you know when I've had time to try it out!

Loves,
