Current Celebrity Inspiration: Lauren Conrad

First up, it's the beautiful Lauren Conrad. I love her cute, flirty and feminine style. Choosing basics and accessorizing them up to make them more interesting.

Look out for more celebrity inspiration as I will be doing these monthly.

Who is your current celebrity inspiration?

Award Time

I was nominated by Irish for the Gorgeous Blogger Award, and as it was so nice of her I thought I'd do the same. Everyone go check her out!

The Rules:

1. Thank the person who nominated you.
2. Copy the award and place it on your blog.
3. Link to the person who nominated you for this award.
4. Tell 7 interesting things about yourself.
5. Nominate 7 bloggers.
6. Post links to the 7 blogs you nominate.

So, 7 interesting facts about me, ummm here goes...

1. I must own nearly 200 pairs of shoes, at my last count up it was 167. You have to bare in mind that I own a LOT of flip flops though. I have shoes all around my house, we have a shoe cabinet in the hallway, I have shoes under the stairs, a black bag full in our spare room and of course in my own room. When I move house I want a special wardrobe just for shoes so they're all on display and shown lots of love! I have serious shoe issues.

2. I find it stupidly hard to throw the most pointless of things away, for example cardboard boxes that make up comes in. Don't ask me why, I'm weird.

3. I have known my best friend since we were 8, that's 15 years. I'm so proud that we're still friends after all this time, other than family there is no one else I've ever known for that long.

4. I drive a Mini Cooper and her name is Molly the Mini, before that I drove a Polo, her name was Polly the Polo, can you spot the pattern? My best friend named both my cars.

5. I have a BTEC National Diploma in Multimedia, and a BA Hons degree in Fashion Journalism.

6. I have just eaten nearly a whole pack of Maryland cookies whilst writing this, ooops.

7. I have a toyboy! My boyfriend is 4 years younger than me, previously I went out with someone 5 years older than me, talk about different ends of the scale!

I nominate:

Be sure to check all these girlies out, they're fab!

MAC Update

Hi guys,

So a few posts down I said that I couldn't wait to get my hands on some of the stuff from the new MAC collections, and I am happy to say I got the three most wanted items, but limited myself to just three. So I got By Candlelight MSF and Nurture shadestick from Warm & Cosy and I got Hypnotizing e/s from Love Lace, I'm not going to go into each one with swatches etc, because you've all seen it before, just thought I'd share my purchases.

I will say I absolutely love the colour of Nurture, but it is so similar to my skin tone, so when it's all over the lid, the only real effect I get from it is a bit of shimmer, so I might have to keep this one as a brow highlight, over than that I love it.

One Year Anniversary

So this post is a bit different to what I normally blog about but I thought I would share it with you never the less. This week Jack and I celebrated our one year anniversary.

On Saturday night to celebrate we went to Cactus Blue in Chelsea for cocktails and a meal, which was absolutely gorgeous, and I managed three courses! Go me. I highly recommend it to anyone in the South or West London area if you like American/Mexican food. We had some yummy cocktails in the bar first, well I had some cocktails - Cosmo's and Jack had a few beers, then we went through to the restaurant for our meal and a bottle of champagne. It was such a brilliant night and I finally got to wear my black lacy Warehouse dress, yey!

Then on the actual day we had a romantic night in as we both had to work the next day. While Jack was at work, I put up a photo story of the past year up and made our room all cosy for when he got back from work, and finally got to open the pink champagne his mum got me on my birthday. I thought I'd share a few piccys, enjoy...

The photo story I made.
Cosy carpet picnic going on.

The "promise" box I made him. It has 52 hearts in (that I cut out myself) with thoughts/feelings/promises/wishes on that he's allowed to read one a week up until our next anniversary in a year.
And lastly, my pink roses and choccys :)
