My new love...

Everybody...Meet the new loves in my life...

If you follow me on Twitter, you may remember me Tweet-Piccing these babies a few weeks ago on the day that I bought them, because I was terribly excited about them.

These, my friends are my brand new most favourit-est shoes in the whole entire world!

They are by Kurt Geiger and I originally fell in love with them back at the end of Feb.

Nicola and I had just been to the Witch Skincare Event in Soho and afterwards we hot-footed it to Harrods so that I could get my Mum's birthday present. After the pressie had been purchased it would have been rude not to have a browse.

First stop, shoe department. I spied these bad boys from a mile off and instantly fell in love. For weeks after I dropped massive hints to my boyfriend that I would like them for my birthday (yeah, my birthday isn't until September, but still). I even took my Mum to Kurt Geiger and made a point of pointing them out.

Then randomly one day a couple of weeks ago, Jack and I were out shopping (well I actually needed to take a few things back) and I went and had a look at them once more, this time deciding to try them on. And that was it, as soon as they were on my feet, I HAD to have them. They were meant to be mine.

So I just said to the sales assistant, "I'll take them". I was physically shaking as she rung them up on the till and I was entering my pin. Jack's words to me were, "you're buzzing aren't you?"

It was the most extravagant, random, spur of the moment purchase I have ever made (other than gifts for other people), but I had not long received my first pay cheque from my new job, and I thought, why not? I earned it. So that is what I did.

The shoes have had two outings already, and I love them, I also love the attention they attract - I let the shoes do the walking ;)
