Suprise From Aussie

A few days ago, I was having a nose through Twitter, as ya do, and I noticed a few people saying thank you to the Aussie folks. I wondered what it was all about, and then I saw an Aussie reply that read, "glad you received the parcle". Que me getting stupidly excited wondring what could be on its way to me!

Later in the day much to my shock and excitment, I opened the door to the DHL man carrying this hugeeee parcle, I managed to hold out a little longer and take a few snaps before I opened it.

And here's what the lovely's sent me...

  • A VIP invitation to the London Eye on Bonfire Night
  • Some Aussie slippers
  • Hot Chocolate
  • A Heat cushion
  • Aussie Take the Heat spray and cream
  • Hand muff

It was all really sweetly thought out, so thank you everyone at Aussie, I look forward to using it all.

Aussie Colour Mate Party

The eagerly anticipated Aussie Colour Mate party took place on Saturday night. The Colour Mate tribe have patiently waited for our event, getting green eyed at all the other Aussie Tribes photographs and blog posts from their events that have been staggered throughout the year. But last, but not least, the day of our party finally arrived, and it was worth the wait!

So I got my glad rags on and headed off for destination, the Kingly Club, Soho.

I was allowed to bring two friends to party with me, I opted for just one, and of course that was my bestie, Nicola.

When we finally found the club, which is really tucked away in Kingly Court, picking up several bloggers on the way, we really did enter like a tribe! We were greeted by a table of Moet...

And of course, the lovely Emma.

After a few glasses of champers while we waited for other bloggers to arrive, we were joined by two very special guests.

Thats right ladies...Lady GaGa and Beyonce showed up to show their support for Aussie!

By now the party was getting in full swing, and we were mooching with all the other bloggers, having a natter.

Here I am with the lovely Milly, Claire, Ling and of course me & Nicola.

After an introduction from Emma, we had a demo and chat with two Aussie resident stylists Amber and Zara. The demonstrated a fish tail plait on Ling, and we all had a natter about any past hair disasters and shared any little tips.

After the demo, the stylists set up in the corner ready to pamper and style everyones hair, whilst we enjoyed our lovely cocktails and the entertainment Lady GaGa and Beyonce provided.

Here are the girls jotting down some tips for the tip boxes that were staggered about the event, which will later be made into an Aussie Style Bible for each of us to own.

If you would like to have a nosey at any more of the piccys, please do check out the Aussie flickr account here.

It was an excellent evening provided by Aussie yet again, and it was wonderful to meet all the beautiful bloggers. Massive appreciation to everyone at 1000 Heads, Aussie, The Kingly Club and of course GaGa and Beyonce!

We have love for Aussie..!

After everyone left, we were the last remaining, (true party animals, ha!) but I'll save those piccys for my Facebook!

We left just after midnight, swinging our little purple goodie bags as we trotted homeward bound after a truely brilliant night was had by all.

A Surprise Gift From Aussie

Hello gorgeous ones,

So on Saturday morning when I was relaxing in bed, my boyfriend brought me up a cuppa and a parcle, I was racking my brians to figure out what it was, I hadn't bought anything...I'm on a spending ban after all saving up for my holiday (I'm nearly there by the way, woo hoo). It didn't help that the package was sealed really tight, and I wasn't getting anywhere with opening it, Jack had to even help!

When I finally got it open, I discovered it was from the lovely people at Aussie, and they had sent me some products to try. I got:
  • Limited Edition Aussie Colour Mate shampoo and conditioner
  • Limited Edition Aussie 3 Min Miracle Colour Deep Treatment
  • An Aussie compact mirror
  • A comb
  • Badges
  • A chocolate bar

So massive thank you to Aussie, can't wait to try the products out! It couldn't have come at a better time, as the products I got when I changed my hair are nearly run out.

Most Worn Tag

Hello guys,

Before I went to Paris I was tagged by the beautiful Chloe at Make-Up Princess to do the most worn tag, I know it's taken me a while, but I've been working a lot recently and really busy. But as it's a horrible rainy Saturday afternoon, I thought I'd give it a go.

The rules are simple, list your most worn:
1) Lipstick/gloss
2) Earrings
3) Shirt/top
4) Nail Polish
5) Shoes
6) Hair product
7) Perfume
8) Bag/purse

And then tag 5 people to do the same and let them know on their blog.

So here goes...

Lipstick/gloss - Recently I've been wearing MAC's DSquared Nude Rose a lot its the perfect pink for me and I love it, and am thinking about getting a back up I love it that much, although it's now sold out on the website. But if we're talking over a longer period it has to be GOSH Darling (134)

Earrings - This is a hard one, I mix up my earrings on a daily basis, I've got so many that I wear all the time. Here's a selection of my most worn ones..

Shirt/top - Again another hard one because there are so many and I don't really have a "most worn". At the moment I'm quite into layering as it's getting colder, so I'll wear a plain vest - I have a lot from the H&M range, and I'll layer them with a long cardi.

Nail polish - I discovered this really cheap one from Boots Natural Collection range, it's £1.70 or something silly like that, it's called Black Cherry and it's the most gorgeous red, I tend to have french tips all through the summer and then in winter I like painting my (fake) nails with dark colours, and this is perfect.

Shoes -  I have a stupid amount of shoes, but I wear my black moc-crock hidden platforms the most when I'm off on a night out. They were from Oasis and cost me £65. They are just the perfect court shoes for jeans or dresses. For day time I love these distressed River Island ankle cowboy boots. Also as it's got freezing outside, I'm probably going to be seen in my UGG boots a lot. I have the full length chestnut ones.

Hair product - There are two and they are both Aussie products. Firstly I use the 3 Min Deep Treatment every time I wash my hair because my hair has been damaged, and I'm trying to get it back into a good condition, I've been using this product for a couple of months and it's working wonders, not to mention it leaves my hair silky soft and smells delicious. I then use the heat protectant before I do anything. Ooh and a last min add on I also like the Batiste Dry
Shampoo, I have the Blush one and I have occasionally used this on the day I am due to wash my hair instead of actually washing it. It holds out well, but my hair must be washed the next day or later that evening.

Perfume - Ah, an easy one. Without doubt, it has to be Marc Jacobs - Daisy, I have this perfume in all the different bottles it comes in and I love it sooo much. It's my signature scent, and Jack knows whenever I enter the work building because he can smell Daisy!

Bag/purse - My most worn bag of the moment is the Guess bag I got for my birthday, it's moc-crock and patent. I have a thing for big bags and this is a nice size for all my day to day junk. It's a bit of a pain to go shopping with though because it doesn't go over the shoulder it hooks over my arm so when I'm carrying a lot of bags as well as my handbag, it's quite hard work!

I tag anyone that wants to do this tag!
