HAUL: My Summer Wardrobe Courtesy of Primani

It's funny that as I write this, the shops all have their Autumn stock in and Summer is long gone. As it's now that we are finally seeing some much needed sunshine, (and I'm hoping August will be a nice month), that I have collated a few of the items I did buy this year with the intent of wearing them all summer long - but the truth is, I've hardly had the chance to wear any of it, and it is sitting in my wardrobes all tags-a-hanging.

These are just the items I've bought this summer from Primark, the majority of my new items in 2011 have actually come from good old Primani as I haven't had the chance to shop much, and there is a Primark on my way home from work (Hurrah!)

Again, I must stress that all these items have been bought over the last few months, so some prices have been forgotten or might be a guess...

(The newer items are first)

Outfit of the Night

Last Thursday, I managed to get out of the office and start my long Easter weekend an hour earlier, which was fantastic as I was going out that evening to meet up with some friends, have a few drinks and have little shim shimmy on the dancefloor to celebrate four days off.

Here is what I wore;;

Primark Loot :)

Apoligies for lack of posts this week ladies, just when I was on a roll as well, having blogged every day the previous week but as I'm sure you may all know by now, I started my new job on Monday, and have been a very busy bee. And once I come home, it's time to cook, clean up and get to bed. I promise I will try and do better.
I did pick up a few things in Primark this week that I wanted to quickly share with you, because we all know everybody loves a Primarni Haul :)

A Collective Fashion Haul...

I was sitting here on this bright sunny day wondering what I could blog about, when I realised that I hadn't done a haul for a while. To be honest I was trying to steer clear of them, because I didn't want my blog to be about hauls, hauls, hauls. But as I haven't done one in a few months, I thought why not do a collective haul of some of the things I have picked up in the last month or so.
A collective haul once in a while is better than one a week, right?
So as I said, here are just some of the items I have picked up over the last month or more, I'll try and be as acurate as I can with the prices, but as I've had some of the things for quite a while, I might not remember some.
Also, please take into consideration that I have just got a brand spanking new job (YAY!), so a few of the items are for work purposes and the rest is lesuire.

One of those great little Primark Finds

You know every now and then Primark do an item that you just know will sell out of you don't buy it there ad then? Well today, I think I got one of those items.

I went in to return something, and once I'd stood in the Customer Services que for what seemed an eternity, why does every Primark take so long? I was walking out, when I walked past the shoes and spotted these babies.

They weren't there when I popped in on Monday after work, so must be new in, so after routing through several size 5's I finally found a 6 and tried them on. I heart them. The perfect mix of smart-casual with the worker boot style and heel combined. I adore the colour, and wear a lot of other colours from this family, they go great with browns, camels, beiges, creams, blacks.

The price? £18. When I saw the price I was a bit hesitant. Why is it in Primark when you see a pair of shoes over £12 you automatically think, "they're a bit pricey"?

I just hope they are going to be comfy.

What have you been buying in Primark recently?

HAUL: Accessories

I've gone a bit accessory mad the week, for a good cause though...

It's the Aussie Colour Tribe Party on Saturday night, and you are meant to dress up as a celebrity who colours their hair.

For any one who doesn't know I'm an Aussie Angel, and as a treat they are putting a party on for us in Central London this weekend, where we'll get to meet other beauty bloggers, sip cocktails, have a boogie, and general good time.

I won't tell you what celeb I am going to dress like, I'll save that for the picture evidence. But here's some of the accessories I've bought for it, and some just because I liked them!

The first lot is just because I liked them...

Daisy ring, Primark, £2

Matching Daisy earrings, Primark, £2

Black dome ring, Primark, £1.50

Effiel Tower and Pink Poodle necklace, Primark, £1.50

The next few bits are for Saturdays party...I hope it doesn't give it away! Ha!

Swallow ring, New Look, £4.99

Multi charm necklace, New Look, £3

Corsage head band, New Look £3

Who do you think I'm going to be?!

Haul From the Past Week & Bargain of the Year!

Over the past week of so, various mini shopping trips have occured, whether it be quickly before work, or before going to lunch with my boyfriend on Sunday, or online but I've managed to grab a few nice things.

Bangle, £2.50
Cream Earrings, £2/£2.50
Gold heart ring and stud set, £1
All Primark
Maxi Dress, Republic, £26.99

Maxi dress, Miss Selfridge, £30

Cream tunic dress (same as the black one from my last haul), Next, £45

And saving the best until last...

I popped into French Connection just to have a look to see if they had any nice dresses in as possibilities for my birthday dress. It turned out all their dresses (apart from new season ones) were reduced to £45. I took four to the changing rooms, without looking at the was prices. I tried one on and I automatically liked it, so I took it off and tried the rest, which I didn't like, so I decided to get just the one. Then to my greatest shock/excitement, I looked at the was price. Was £230. OMG!

Bargain or what?!

Whilst at the til I mentioned to the girl what a great bargain it was and she said that this week they were having a bargain bonanza, and they had slashed all the sale prices to £45, then as of Monday they go back up to their original sale prices again. I can't remember what the sale price of my dress was, and they take the price tags off in French Connection when you pay, so I couldn't even find out, unless it's on the website. But lucky or what?

Here is the dress in its full glory...

Beaded dress, French Connection, was £230, now £45 (for a limited time only!)

I know it doesn't look that special on the hanger, and just looks like an oversized t-shirt, but once it's on a body, it clings nicely round the bottom area, and is looser around the top, which is a sheer see-through material, but with all the beading and sequins, the fact that it is see-through isn't noticeable.

When I get a chance, I'll put it on and take a picture for you, so you can see what I mean.

I'm not sure if it's going to be what I wear for my birthday yet, because knowing me I will see something else I want!
