These jeans are amazing! It’s been years since I bought jeans in Topshop, but I’m glad I have these ones. They don’t feel like jeans at all, are super skinny and fit me like a glove. I will be investing in other colours.

The Sales & Sales Haul

I refused to go to the sales the whole week after Christmas. I wasn't feeling routing through what could be conceived as jumble, contending with crazed shoppers and long ques, not to mention trying to park my brum brum. I had checked the sales out online on Boxing Day and I was terribly disappointed. The sales were full of crap. New Look were still trying to sell off old summer stock I remember from last year and the rest of it was rubbish I'd never seen in the shop/online before.

So I waited for the Christmas frenzy to die down and had another Quality Street.

When I did eventually venture out it wasn't intentionally even to look at the sales as "all the good stuff will be gone now" was drummed into my brain. My main aim was to check out the new seasons stock.

However, most places didn't have a lot of Spring stock in as of yet and was mostly still sales. Usually I find the best type of places for sales and massive reductions, and where I get most sale items are Warehouse and Oasis. Both are fairly high end highstreet stores with their full price stock being slightly above the average prices of Topshop and River Island for example.

I love both shops but purchases from them are only sporadically, until the sales that is, when I find their reductions absolutely amazing. Although I did make a few purchases from these two shops, I found that a lot of the items had hardly anything taken off them.

For example, a leather jacket I've been eyeing up for months had a measly £15 off. And still weeks later, it hasn't had any further reductions.

I'm not sure what has happened this year, but the sales weren't up to their normal standards.

Having said that, here are the few sale purchases I did manage to make and they were the few items I found that did have a fair bit of money off them.

Firstly, I thought I would start with the biggest bargain I managed to get, and this was only bought last week.

Shrinking Feet & A Haul

Hello girly girls,

Firstly I wanted to say, I am sorry for my lack of posts recently, but unfortunately, my MacBook Air kinda died *sad face* my screen somehow became detached from the bottom, and now it won't even come on, so I'm currently using my home PC, but it's not always easy to get into my study and blog, so apoligies for that.

So today, I popperd out for a couple of hours with my Mumsy, she had to get a few bits for my Dad, and I was in search of a white across body bag for my holiday, which I must say I've been hunting for for weeks, it's summer for christs sake, you'd think I could get a white bag! Anyway, I finally got one today in Claires, it's nothing special, and I haven't photographed it, but it will do for holiday purposes.

Whilst looking for my Dad, obviously we browsed for ourselves too, as ya do! So we went to Office, and for a few weeks now I'd had my eye on some patent peep toes that come in nude, bright pink and black just for day wear in the summer. I wanted the pink ones, but put it off, because they were £60 and I am on a complete spending ban. However, my beautiful Mummy treated me to them today, along with a gorgeous pair of converse, which I am in love with!

Bright pink peep toes, Office, £60
Grey (although on the box they are described as green?)/Neon Pink Converse, Office, £34.99

I love them!! :)

And I am extra happy, that after years of being a size 6, then shrinking to a 5.5 in the past couple of years, both pairs of shoes I got today were a 5 and a perfect fit, I was so fed up of shoes being too big for me, and plus size 5's loot much more dainty :)

We also popped to Next to get my Dad some shorts, and I picked up a cute top and some jewellery.

Top, Next, £22
Bracelet, Next, £7.50
Beaded flower ring, Next, I can;t remember the price, I'll update later.
Necklace, Next, £12

I hope you're all ok.

Mini Haul & Bronzer Update

Hi all,

Thanks to all my new followers and welcome :)

I just thought I'd post a really quick haul for some things that I've picked up recently. My Mum went out on Friday and bought me a few treats for my holiday, she got me some beige linen trousers from River Island along with two sets of pink pearl earings, ANDDDD these lovely sandals from Office. I love, love, love them and now that the sun is finally shining, I can't wait to get my feet into them.

I went out today to change a pair of flip flops that my boyfriend got in Westfield, London last week, because he needs a bigger size, unfortunately, they didn't have them locally, so I thought I'd pop into the shopping centre and have a browse.

I went into Claires Accessories and bought some simple silver hooped earings and the other bits I got were from Superdrug. I got two of the Beauty UK eyeshadow pallets as I've seen them mentioned on various peoples blogs recently and the feedback has been quite good. I got number 1 and number 3. They each have 10 eyeshadows in them and cost £2.99 each, bargain.  Pallet number 1 has pastel shades and number 3 has bolder shades which all have silver flecks of glitter in them.

I also got a Collection 2000 nail polish in 232 Pink Passion. I have been desperately trying to find a nice bubblegum pink polish in the past week, and have ended up with several pinks, but none of them being the shade I wanted them to be. So I'm hoping this is going to be the one. Lastly, I picked up a GOSH 134 Darling lipstick.

In the last entry, I said that I'd update you on the two bronzers I got - the Barry M and the Prestige. I've been using them for a few days now and I have to say I haven't been overly impressed with the Prestige in St. Tropez. I put it on one day and my face just looked dirty. I really wasn't expecting that, because to look at it, it's a beautiful bronze colour. However, I really want it to be a great product, so I'm going to stick with it, play around with it, and try and figure out a way to make it work for me. The Barry M bronzer has been used very sparingly because I have very pale skin, and assumed it would be far too dark for me.

I have been using a very small amount to contour my face, and I have cheekbones! So I am pretty pleased with the Barry M at the moment, and am looking forward to experimenting a bit more with it next week when I am in Egypt and have a bit of colour.

Thats pretty much all my updates for now, I have a few pictures from this weekend that I may post up later.
